Another Fantastic WITNESS User Conference!

Ashley Hanson looks back at last week's WITNESS User Conference in Michigan, USA.

A big thank you to everyone who attended the WITNESS User Conference 2013 last week. The event brought together long time WITNESS users, companies new to simulation and energized academic partners to discuss the keys to building successful simulation groups. Our guest speakers from HP and Cummins did a wonderful job, sharing relevant and interesting presentations from work they've done at their companies. We also highlighted the experimentation features in WITNESS 13, and gave a sneak peak at the new technology coming to WITNESS later this year and into 2014.

My favorite parts of the conference were the two workshop sessions that we held. These breakout sessions brought together people from different backgrounds and levels of experience to discuss issues and challenges of promoting the business value of simulation internally. While each person brought a unique perspective to the table, it was also nice to see how many people share in the same day-to-day challenges and could relate to each other's experiences.

The first webinar, covering the experimentation framework in WITNESS 13, is now scheduled for October 22, with additional webinars to follow.
